What is a teaser intro?
A short preview of the best bit of your video, usually 10 to 30 seconds, that plays at the very start. It shows viewers what is coming, so they keep watching instead of clicking away.
Why start my video with an intro?
Most viewers decide in the first few seconds whether to keep watching. If your video opens slowly, many leave before they reach the good part. Showing the best moment first gives them a reason to stay.
Is TeaserIntro really free?
Yes. Pick a video, make your intro, change the captions, music and ending, and download it. All free. The video is made on your own computer, which is what keeps it free for us to run.
Do I need editing skills?
No. TeaserIntro picks the moment and adds the captions and music for you. The only editing you do is dropping the finished file at the start of your video.
How do I add the intro to my video?
Download it and drop it at the very start of your video in whatever app you use: CapCut, iMovie, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or anything else. Intros are 1080p widescreen and match your video's frame rate, so they fit your timeline with no black bars or stutter, and your final video stays full quality.
How does it pick the moment?
TeaserIntro uses AI to listen to what is said in your video and find the part most likely to grab attention, like a surprise, a strong opinion or a question people will want answered. It always uses one continuous moment rather than chopping clips together.
Can I change what it picked?
Yes. Tap Try another moment to see a different part of your video. You can also change the captions, font, music and the text at the end.
How long is the intro?
Usually between 10 and 30 seconds, depending on the moment it picks.
What kind of videos work best?
Videos where people talk: vlogs, tutorials, reviews, storytimes, podcasts and interviews. Videos with no speech, like music or gameplay without commentary, do not work as well yet.
Does my video get uploaded?
No. Your video stays on your computer, so even a 1 or 2GB file is ready straight away. We only send the sound, so we can write the captions, and a single still image for your list of intros. If you are signed in and download an intro, we keep a copy so you can download it again later. You can delete an intro and everything saved with it at any time.
Do I need an account?
No. You can make an intro without signing in. Sign in if you want to save your intros and come back to them later.
Which browsers work?
A recent version of Chrome, Edge or Safari on a computer. If your browser cannot make videos, we will show a warning before you start.
Do I own the intros I make?
Yes. It is your video, so the intro is yours. Use it anywhere, including in monetised videos.
